Ranch Sports Barn

A new 1,000 sq. ft. pavilion designed to accompany leisure amenities including a sports court & fishing pond on a family ranch in Fayette County, Texas. The structure takes on the simple form & materiality of the region's agrarian out-buildings. A long gable is buttressed by deep lean-to porches for spectators. The central living & dining space frames distant views through large sliding glass doors. The ends of the gable house a refreshment station, equipment storage, a sleeping loft, and locker rooms with outdoor showers. The nearby pump house serves double duty as a small gym.
